This is lying to murder victims' families.

Imagine having a loved one murdered by one of these charming individuals. Upon conviction, you are told that the culprit has been sentenced to life without parole, and that at least he will spend the rest of his life in prison, paying for his crime and unable to hurt anyone else. Then, the legislature decides to make the guy parole eligible. I can scarcely imagine a greater betrayal.

    Life?

Keeping a child in prison for life is not going to bring ANYONE back. But, perhaps there were a monetary settlement to the victims family. It can't ever be repaid if the offender isn't a tax paying citizen! If this is a life for a life, then lets adopt the death penalty from this date forward.

    the idea is NOT

to bring anybody back. it never was to bring anybody back. it never will be to bring anybody back. it's to punish. how do you PROPERLY PUNISH a juvenile murderer?
