    Stupid

I don't care how old they are. If the crime is that heinous they need to rot.

    Juvenile life without parole

Stupid is just ignorant. Need to read such as scientific data on childrens minds are not fully developed until sometimes in early 20's. Means they can not rationalize consequences. Put your foot also in someone elses shoes...their parents as well as the other parents.

When is a child an Adult?

If we keep telling children that they are not responsible for their actions, than how are they going to learn right from wrong? Not to mention about understanding concequences for those actions. But we don't give them privalages of adults because they are not able to make solid dicisions on their own. So should we treat them as adults in the criminal justice system? Either they are adults or they are children, we cant have it both ways.

Slippery slope to banning all LWOP

Death penalty opponents like the ACLU tend to promote life without parole as a viable alternative to capital punishment. This bill only reveals their true intentions to get rid of life without parole as well as the death penalty. All this legislation would due is turn the state into a bald-face liar after telling the familities of murder victims that those who killed their loved ones will be put away forever.

    What about reform?

LWOP to "children"? Children are still developing, growing, and maturing. That's why they don't vote, buy booze, and shouldn't be housed with adults that already know right from wrong. Children (offenders under 18) should have a second chance. Maybe it should cost them ten or fifteen years of their life, to grow, learn, and respect human life - but child offenders deserve a second chance. Maybe only one chance but at least a second chance.

WANT to be reformed. this is not the case with hardened juvenile offenders, especially those that kill.
