    limits

It is about time that someone has proposed some limit to something in Lansing. The benefits have far outreached anything that could remotly be called fair for what is done in our government. However I am pretty sure that it will not be passed. As iin Geroge Orewll's book "Animal Farm" only the ones in power get away with doing nothing and receive benefits for doing so. There seems no limits for the few, but many limits to the taxpayers of this state as well as in the federal government.

    Can you find the numbers

Can anyone tell me exactly what the retirement benefits are for our legislators etc. For any state governmnet employees? How much of our budget goes for retirement benefits for state employees, including police, teachers etc. Gov. Granholms office replied and said I could find the information online, but gave no idea where it could be found. I was surprised to find some info that showed some teachers contracts call for them to pay $0 for health insurance, while the State pays over $14000 per year. We need to rein these people in and make them live and pay like we do.
