    not another tax!

Another Tax!!! Just tack it on ontop of the rest of them! Sure it's only $25 per vehicle...... by 3 vehicles in my house. That's $75! On top of all the other taxes we pay and can't afford. Again everything goes up, and we're still making less. Try taxing the vehicles that cause the most damage, like the overloaded Tractor trailers, and gravle haulers. Or make the contractors pay for repairs on inferior road construction, and over pricing. Roads can be built correctly and require little repair and matinence. For example I376.... This small stretch of road is at least 15 years old, and looks as good as the day it was paved. Let's do it right the first time and it pay in the end. Do the right thing people!

I thought the gasoline tax was suppose to help pay for road repairs. If the cities, counties and state had a preventive maint. program, roads wopuldn't have to be rebuilt. Cold patch is the biggest waste of money there is for road repairs. It's like throwing money out thew window. If the roads need repairs, repair it the right way the first time. Lets quit wasting the taxpayers money, and stop asking for more. Let's start spending some of your rainy day money.

Another Tax for the American Worker

It is very easy for you legislative people to sit in your office and tax us - the working man and woman. We make thousands of dollar a year less than you do and you want to add another tax onto what we are already paying? How about you take a pay cut and pay for the road improvements. Let's see you live on what we live on day in and day out and then see if you suggest any more taxes!!! As the previous responder said, do it right the 1st time and you wouldn't have to come up with more taxes to pay for your screw-ups!
