    2003 House Bill 4818

Introduced in the House on June 10, 2003, to authorize an additional $15 fee if an applicant for a carry concealed weapon (CCW) permit requests that a local police agency take the required fingerprints, rather than the county sheriff department. The bill does not reduce the $15 portion of the $105 CCW permit fee which is paid to counties to reimburse them for the expense of providing fingerprints

The vote was 106 in favor, 1 opposed and 3 not voting

(House Roll Call 235 at House Journal 52)

It's bad enought that we get raped with these outrageous fees.
But know because some county's cant get there act together you want to charge us even more.

How much more do you think we the people will take before you tick us off.

Dont forget we do vote! You should remeber that during your next election.
Or you'll be hunting for a job yourself...

    $15 for what

Why should the county get the $15 if they don't do the fingerprinting?

The extra expense is to discourage poor people from the ability to defend themselves. EVERY person in the State of Michigan has the RIGHT to defend themselves and their families.

Thank You Sue. Your the only one that got it right.
