    2003 Senate Bill 567

    Introduced in the Senate on June 10, 2003, to postpone sunsets on higher land and water management fees imposed by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) until Oct. 1, 2008. Under current law the following fees are scheduled to drop on Oct. 1, 2003: floodplain alteration permit fees; inland lakes and stream project permit fees; riparian ordinary high-water mark survey fees; shorelands protection and management fees; permit fees for construction projects in high-risk areas, flood risk areas, and environmental areas; and Great Lakes dredging fees. The bill would leave higher fees in effect until Oct. 1, 2008
