    This is a very good

bill. The income of Seniors does not go up. Therefore, it is unfair to keep taxing them more and more until they can no longer even stay in their own house!

    hard case makes bad law

We should rethink taxes for everyone if we think this is good. Many middle-class people in Canton are having homes foreclosed, are they worth less compassion? Foreclosures are at a high all over the state. During the last Depression whole families were evicted from homes. Many men have been laid off yet where is the compassion for them? I think this is a bill based on emotion.

    Right on...

Once again, good enough for seniors, good enough for everyone. Just because the AARP and Gray Panthers have folks in their pockets, it makes it ok to even submit this bill?

Property taxes are nothing more than glorified rent paid to the government. Get rid of the rent, and get better results economically.
