    A childs bond matters

    Todays social reality is children are being placed or adopted by relatives,or grandparents. Laws should give equal rights to Children Rights. The big woopy of new Grandparent Law passed, but it was a failing bottom line in it now allows more court battles to continue then ever before, congress pick over made it worse,by opening input of parents rights, they got more upset,demanded there rights be more valued.instead of backwards in attempt to refine everyword,one simple codeADD Plus seem odd heir name is being used for other favored laws,nonpurposed action ,but then voted to out put words or grandparents in Grandparent issue Legislature should of agreed to the first intro bill of HansonClarke law read following. , Adoption of child by stepparent or Grandparent in 1 degree does not terminate,right to petition for grandparenting bond to continue. after all grandparents are not trying to compete with Parents rights, but when a child is Adopted by "Relative grandparents or just 1st degree GP's the issue become a Right of Child to bond with both set of Grandparents 1st degree only of course because then, Parents right org will get upset to afraid that(any relative)anyone could visit. TO which most Grandparent Rights org.members do Not want either. But point is why was provisions of the words adoption by stepparents OR GRANDPARENTS left out of the so called New woopy do rights bill if your going to help CHILDREN rights in need or Grandparents bond, Why leave a GOOD thing out. Amend to ADD- 710.60(2)(b)-A grandchild adopted by maternal or Paternal grandparents, that grandchild becomes heir to adoptive relative grandparents. A grandparent in 1st degree Maternal or paternal may petition for mediation or visitation continued bond ,with or without name change. or under 710.44 Consent by,explain,separate agreement 710.44 (7)-a grandchild placed or adopted by grandparents in 1st degree maternal or paternal without discrimination,may petition for continued visitation bond,in best interest of child factors. This will protect the Child rights, will not interfere with New family unit Adoptions issues. after all children do not see adoptive grandparent as a newparent family. Protect the child bond.
