Get the government out of heritage identity. Get the government out of tracking every nuance of our lives. This is another venue&amp;nbsp;for tracking racial identity, creating more bureaucracy for &amp;quot;Special&amp;quot; actions based on heritage.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;An officer who violates this subsection by failing to&amp;nbsp;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;ascertain or attempt to ascertain the race or ethnicity of the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="line-height:11pt;" class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;individual to whom the citation is issued or by reporting false&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;information on the citation is guilty of misconduct and subject to&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;administrative discipline by his or her employer.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="line-height:11pt;" class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; (5) Information reported on a citation as described under&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;subsection (4) shall be collected by the law enforcement agency&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;that employs the officer who issued the citation. The law&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;enforcement agency shall forward that information to the department&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;of state police in a form and manner as determined by the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="text-transform:uppercase;"&gt;department of state police.&amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
