It was meant to be a 6 or 7 percent increase, and the $20,000 car would go from $103 to $111 at the very most. Let those creating the bills live as the rest of us live: recovering from job loss, praying not to lose our jobs, and making 25%-50% less income than in 2008. If I were able to live near public transportation, I would have given up my car by now. Many Michiganders do not have the option to use public transportation. Passing this bill is a great way to get people to leave Michigan ... as if they haven&amp;#39;t already left in droves when no jobs were available. &lt;/p&gt;
