Too much cost of medical care -- tax doctors.

Too much crime and judicial costs -- tax policemen.

Too much cost in education -- tax teachers.

Doctors will leave, doctors will not come to Michigan to practice. Doctors will stop accepting Medicaid patients. The end result is that there will be less access for patients. This is probably the hidden agenda of the government. To ration care and access to care. What our responsible legislators now need to pass are taxes on all state employees to pay for state government, all police and firemen should be taxed to cover the cost of the departments they work for. Our responsible legislators have now placed Michigan again as the worst state in the union for medicine.

Ludicrous! Taxing one segment of the population to make up a deficit created by our fine legislators in Michigan. Why not tax our legislators 4% to make up the difference in the budget? What about teachers to help the deficit in schools? The lawyers definitely need to have some tax applied to their incomes to help with court costs and bogus lawsuits! When will this taxation without representation stop? Physicians already take care of those without insurance at discounted rates. Michigan has slashed payments for medicaid patients. Telling physicians that participate in medicaid that their payments will increase is patently untrue! If a physician makes more money, they pay more taxes. Once again, a typical political play on words.

Basically physicians will now pay 1. Income tax on their earnings, 2. small business tax and 3. Medicaid tax. What's next?

This bill will, drive more physicians into retirement, force some to move and discourage young physicians, graduating from residencies, from staying in State.

This tax doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Medical cost need to be brought under control, not taxed.

I do wonder though how changeagent equates government control with lower cost of medical procedures not covered by insurance. That appears to be an insurance problem, not governments.

4% OF GROSS revenue. This shows how govenment has no idea what it is like to run a small

businses -what a doctor's office represents. Doctors' offices and other small business are not sitting on a pot of gold.

I do not have that kind of money. Every year my income goes down and my costs go up. I am working longer hours,

nights and weekends. I cannot work any harder. This money will have to come from somewhere. If this is passed I will either have to

lay off an employee or stop caring for Medicaid patients.

Gee, I wonder why health care is so expensive. The govt seeks to put more control over the industry and that just drives the price up. Why is it that health care procedures typically not covered by insurance have gone down in price? Examples would be lasik eye surgery and cosmetic surgery.
