This is the state picking winners and losers again. "Environmental Leader" could mean Solyndra type companies. What's so green about going belly-up? "Environmental Leader" means this: The state tells the business to jump through hoops, while skimming alittle money off the top and then the business gets to go on with its business... all in the name of saving the state from pollution. Well, this type of crony-capitalism is the biggest polluter in America today... destroying wealth and jobs at record pace. This goes for bills SB 940, SB 941 & SB 942 as well.

Instead of submitting joyfully to Federal over-reach on environmental issues, Republicans are supposed to be the leaders in exercising common sense. There are so many things wrong with this idea that I hardly know where to start: First 'Cap & Trade' was thrown out at the Federal level . . .but many of us are aware that the states and municipalities play some cap& tax-related games . . .always raising the price of energy for businesses and individuals. They you want to turn around and 'reward'(favor) certain businesses for playing your tax-payer-robbing game! This crap needs to stop!! Are you all bucking for a spot in Obama's cabinet for his second term?? Because most people worth of difference between you. Might as well replace you with a Democrat.
