&lt;p&gt;it MIGHT mean taking someone&amp;#39;s property (a common practice anyway), and enslaving inmates (a practice allowed in the constitution) to accomplish this goal, but to listen to the left, it&amp;#39;s going to have to happen anyway. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;we can also seize the assets of the owners of the houses to pay for the renovations. this state doesn&amp;#39;t mind punishing several times for the same infraction. call it RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP FEES. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;it would also broadcast the owner&amp;#39;s name in the paper, so heaven forbid a politician should own some blighted property being used as a crack house.&lt;/p&gt;
