Well lets see if we add 20 cents a gallon on water then we could raise the judges pension...yeah, yeah, great idea. I swear they lay in bed at night thinking of these bright ideas!

Another wonderful example of what a full time legislature does when the state is losing businesses and revenue at an alarming rate. They are in Lansing way to long when they start spewing ideas such as this. They have not grasped that governments produce zero revenue. They only transfer it from one group to another after they have taken their cut. They think they have a license to steal!

What is the purpose of this stupid bill. Michigan already has enough economic problems. Don't make it worse for Michigan businesses and the consumers! Water is a healthy product, not a harmful one. Please find something useful to do with your time!

Party stores on the Michigan side of the Michigan-Ohio border have already taken a big hit with the increase in cigarette tax. Why not kill them altogether and add the 20 cent tax to beer sales as well as bottled water? We should be able to drive off every last loyal customer with that single act. Ohioans who come up to their summer cottages on the lakes in Southern Michigan are already bringing their supplies from home in order to avoid the higher taxes here. Now we can do a lot to help Ohio businesses pick up Michigan residents as customers!

Here we again the Legislative machine in full swing sticking to us,I mean why stop at botlled water why not add extra tax for people having water wells and drinking from them what the heck is in their heads I am guessing a lot of air space and very little of anything else.I say run them out of town I can't wait till election day.

It is a great idea but it should be expanded to all beverages. If we are 20 cents a gallon higher than everyone else that will surely increase domestic sales and be a windfall for the state. This type of legislation demonstrates why we need a full time legislature. They do so much good.

If we charge $.20 per gallon tax on water bottled in the state that will give them incentive to expand and bring more business to Michigan. Darn why didn't I think of that! What genious!
