    2011 Senate Bill 802 (Require state agencies post spending plans online )

    Introduced in the Senate on November 8, 2011, to require state agencies to submit and get approval within 60 days of their annual budget's enactment of a spending plan that includes a "schedule" or list of programs covered under each line item, and the amount they plan to spend on each

    The vote was 27 in favor, 11 opposed and 0 not voting

    A ceremonial transparency bill.  Which means.... let's make taxpayers think that we're going for transparency without really being transparent.  This is simply a feel-good bill that does nothing for taxpayers regarding government accountability and transparency.
