Just one more step toward banning the use of cell phones in vehicles. These people are bent on taking away our liberty one small step at a time until we are all wards of the state.

Another law that tyrannical government thinks is good. It cannot be properly enforced and is only a "feel good" proposal by some. Let the insurance companies contribute to the control of such things, like a much higher deductible for a "accident" where cell phone use was a contributer. Same thinking applies for the "No Helmet" situation for motorcyclists. Government rarely solves problems, they do more to create problems than it's worth!

A recent study showed that new drivers under the age of 25 are most often involved in accidents because of mass texting while driving. By banning them from the use of mobile phones while behind the wheel, many of these accidents can be prevented. It's not right for any driver to use a mobile phone while driving but the new ones are more exposed because their driving reflexes are not yet fully formed.

Ummm...texting is already illegal. Shouldn't that have solved the problem? If not, apparently these laws are ineffective.
