How about we just give diplomas to everyone - that way we would have the highest graduation rate in the country. Sure would attract BIG Business!

Snyder would be very proud that he could then attract his buddies from around the country.

Our education system is one of the worst in the WORLD - why are you trying to lower our standards even more?

Yes, I'm with arduino123 on this... better yet, let's start a diploma mill - just charge each family an extra thousand dollars for every HS diploma they need... and reduce requirements even more!!! That way the Michigan GOP not only gain some revenue, but probably be able get rid of even more teachers ... that's a fiscal win/win - except for the teachers, the students, and the future of the country.

Reform will be the key for Michigan's education system. Here is an example of what to expect if this happens: ......................... http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/governor-jindal%E2%80%99s-education-reform-efforts-why-they-matter/

Another step in the Republican march to dumb down America. Before long, all of it's citizens will be dumb as a tuber.

How is this possible? Why get the foreign languages out of the curriculum? We need them now more than ever if we still want to be a strong nation. I remember when I was back to college knowing two different languages made all the difference for me, I could get into a foreign exchange program and this helped me find the opportunity of my lifetime.
