PARTY CONVENTIONS AND ELECTED FROM SINGLE-MEMBER DISTRICTS FOR
TERMS OF EIGHT YEARS AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW.
As I read the change, it looks like a game of favoritism. If I am politically involved with the candidate of the district, I can be nominated to be on the ballot.
I think that they use to call this "PAYOLA"
