Introduced in the Senate on September 28, 2011, to require the state lottery bureau to give the state welfare agency the names and other available information of every person who wins $1,000 or more.  I think the Local (Lansing) government is getting to be just like Fidel Castro. They want to control our lives at every aspect.It's none of the Human Service Dept. business if I hit the Lottery for $1000.00 or more.The law was already on the books for $5000.00 reporting for tax purposes.If I am not getting anything from the State of Michigan, why is it their business to know that I hit the lottery or at the Casino for $1000.00.This is going too far.They have nothing else to do except sit up and think of some dumb Law to put on the Books.To be able to say he/she got this passed in the House their very own Bill.Stop being dictators already.Take some of the Dumb laws off the Book.

It's funny how lottery winners can still get welfare money :)) While others have to Sell Books only to make ends meet. Life is mysteriously unbalanced while having so many good things to offer at the same time.
