Stop writing more laws which take away personal responsibility.

You know what Senator Arlan Meekhof - there are no guarantee's in life and you should not have the legislative dictatorial power to mandate what is discussed between a doctor and a patient, unless the patient requests the information on her pregnancy and/or the doctor deems it necessary.

"Skylar's Law" - sounds like a knee jerk action resulting from an isolated incident so we're creating a bunch of new crazy procedures due to one incident.

If we keep adding things to the list of things doctors must do in their practices, doctors will spend so much time covering their butts, they won't have time to treat patients.  Leave doctors alone to practice medicine & stay out of the doctor-patient relationship.

I also concur with path. What is it with these republicans trying to interject themselves into our doctor/patient relationship. So much for the "party of less government".

No.  This is the government getting in the exam room with the doctor and the patient.  Never a good idea.
