Even when compared to other stupid liberal spending bills, this one is particularly stupid. $100 for gas, for anyone making less than $50k? That's a tiny, useless subsidy. It's also a horrible precedent to set, that the government now assumes partial responsibility for our fuel costs.

Surely, thejmfc, you realized that the Dems would figure out a way to spread a little wealth to the poor (even the poor who earn between $75,000 and $100,000 per year, apparently) when you saw how hard they're working to raise the price of energy, including the gasoline we use to get to work or play.  

I was waiting to see what Obama would do, but perhaps he has assigned the job to state legislators rather than trying to figure out a way to do it nationally--though if the local pols do it, it will be harder for Obama to take credit for it.  So maybe Rep. Darany (D) just got tired of waiting?

But don't forget, it's $100 per vehicle.  Those poor people who have several cars (maybe even one or two up on blocks?) will be very happy to have an extra few hundred dollars in their pockets.  And don't we hope they think of Rep. Darany every time they spend a buck or two of their unexpected, "free" money?

 Surely this has to be a joke, is it April fools day already??

 

 Yes...typical liberal democratic "resdistribution" of wealth."  Goierge needs to retire from politics...he really has no usefulness, especially in the areana od ideas.  Since when is making $50K a year require subsidies?
