This bill should be banned. The 2nd amendment of the U.S. Constitution says our right to keep and bear arms is not to be infringed. If people would only do some serious search and reading they would see that the framers intended that everyone from the age of 17 and up should or must have a fire arm. If they could not afford one the government would purchase for them with the expectation that the government would be paid back in a reasonable amount of time. I should be able to go to Vermont and purchase a gun, long or short and return to Michigan, without any illetriate legislator who knows nothing about the history of this great country, and not have some form of legal, brainless legislation stoping me, or any other responsible citizen. This kind of stuff is happening because no one knows their history and knows what the intent of the framers had in mind. They were not a bunch of outdated, mindless, backwoodsmen, these men were brilliant because they were looking forward to the future to assure that knot heads who wrote this ban would not be able to, but they did, didn't they.
