The State should not back private sector loans of any kind. Didn't we learn the very expensive lessons with (federal) government backed mortgages? Always a disaster. Unaffordable is unaffordable and the taxpayers deserve NOT to be thrown under the bus once again.
As usual, the dems want to divert finds from their intended purpose to their pet cause. How many of these so called "small businesses" will be able pay back the funds?
If they can't qualify for a commercial loan why would that be a good investment. The State should not invest in private business.
