As a person who has never used the welfare system and a person who works 2.5 jobs. I feel my opinion on this is very relevant. I do not see how my tax dollars should go to people for prepared food. If we continue to make these peoples poverty comfortable they will never have the incentive to better their situations. We need to stop cuddling the poor and only help those that help themselves the rest can live with the choices they have made. I know many young people who game the system and live better than I do. How is this right or moral. We are teaching these people nothing but how to get away with a crime and that it is ok not to work that our government will take care of them. Enough with this nanny state, lets motivate people to acheive instead of giving them money to buy drugs, alchohol and free McDonalds!

Welfare in any form should only be for those who truely need it it should never have become an entitlement as it is today...what a pathetic state we have become.

Great bill, these people who are able to work should not be spending tax payers money eating out.  Michigan citzens who pay taxes are taxed out as it is.  I've been poor but never took a dime from welfare.  I ate noodles with butter for a week untill I got paid the next week to buy food.  It takes hard work to make it but it can be down if you have the will.
