Two awesome bills sponsored by the same Representative, the prohibiting taxing us on miles driven and preserving our right to garden. The only thing that is a shame is that this great nation has come to the point where we need patriots to protect our basic rights. Good Job Respresentative Paul Opsommor!

If this bill doesn't demonstrate the need for a part time legislature, I don't know what does.  This beautiful state of ours has deeper concerns than back yard gardening.

I am on a planning commission and I cannot find an ordinance that prevents gardening nor selling that which is grown on the property.

Many ordinances plan for that type of use, good heavens;  we now have ordinances that allow raising chickens in the city, in your back yard.

I hope the legislature will drop this bill and concentrate on what is needed in our state.  Get a grip gentlemen!  By the way, do our illustrious legislatures see these comments?

If there are no ordinances then why did a citizen in Oak Park, MI almost get arrested for putting an aesthetic pleasing looking garden in her front yard this summer?  It is a shame we have to put out legislation like this but congrats to Rep. Opsommer for trying to preserve our rights as individuals!
