Between the high cost of fuel and the more than doubling of the tipping fee, I have a feeling my trash collector may raise their price. 

Nice plan.  State makes more money but pols can still brag they haven't raised taxes.  Oh well, at least "trash" is one place where I have some control over volume/cost.

Oops. They slipped in a 60% tax increase on garbage dumping.  Most of the cost will be borne by businesses who generate higher volumes of trash.  Almost no one noticed.

One good thing about this though is the fact that people will start to reconsider their options before disposing trash, they'll start reduce the amount of trash they dispose, reuse or recycle the old items, I think that's the whole purpose of this tax. And no, our local junk removal La Verne service didn't increase any tax, nothing changed here.

I think this tax increase is definitely a good idea. This is definitely money that they need for the future. I do not see a problem with it at all. tuxedos Toronto
