I'm all for seeing reduced drug use in our state.
However...
Is this Bill consistent with a conservative interpretation of our Constitution?
Is it consistent with less, and less intrusive, government?
Will expanding the power and role of the NADDI (never heard of them before!) through the use of the NPLEX (never heard of that either!) really achieve the goals of this Bill? Are we in effect just nurturing the seedling of a yet another bureaucracy here?
If this stuff can be used for such evil purposes, maybe we shouldn't be selling it period.
Either that or quit kidding ourselves that we can (or should even try to) protect people from their own choices.
Although it has the appearance of being "tough on drugs and crime", this Bill doesn't sound effective to me.
