Senate Bill 203 is a much needed start to get retirement health costs under control that are afforded to elected officials.

In the real world no. one gets a pension or health insurance after working for an employer for only six years or even fourteen . these slugs already ge paid milage to go to" work" which consists mainly of assulting the old, infirm, poor, and middle class. They should get nothing , and pay for it themselves like they expect everyone else to do.

This is a needed start to bring the legislative body closer to the restrictions on benefits that the average taxpayer, that pays the bill for the legislators, is subjected to.  Welcome to the real world.

The problem with this bill is it doesn't go far enough.  While the legislators complain about public employee benefits being non-competitive, they enjoy life long health care after age 55 for serving six years.  There should be no health care once they leave office.
