 i myself would much rather have the chance to either kill or wound someone who was attacking me. not to mention that id go to jail for defending myself.  why we are not aloud to user tasers or pepper spray, are we supposed to shoot to kill. well if thats what are law says then dont throw me in jail for KILLING SOMEONE whos trying to rape or kill me.

I guess to some of our more frightable citizens, this country has turned into Mad Max. Maybe they would be better off to just blockade themselves in their homes and not venture out, if they feel they need to be armed with multiple weapons when in public.

Or maybe this is an attempt to create jobs. Mmmm, build a taser factory right here in Michigan. I wonder.

An absolutely ridiculous bill.

 These guys get nuttier by the minute.

 So hallrat and gypsy feel that you should not be able to use a "less than lethal "weapon for protection?  They are probably against law abiding citzens having guns too, because guns and tasers create a hostile work environment for some people.

 This bill should include ALL citizen  to be able to carry the stun or Tasers because of all the crime in the nation, do you think that a person with a CCW will allways be around to protect you.WAKE people we need protection also.

I think it just a ruse to nail users for littering when the confetti flies out.......... Do these rubes work at being this idiotic????????

To me, a more basic question is this: is a TASER an arm?  We have a right to keep and bear arms; do less-than-lethal weapons count?  If the answer is no, why not?  If the answer is yes, then ALL citizens should be able to OWN a TASER, and even carry one out in the open without any license, as is the case with guns.  Why would only CPLs be allowed to OWN one?  (And if your permit lapses, are you now a criminal?)  I can somewhat see the logic in placing concealed TASERS under the CPL law.  But to OWN one?  The FIRST question needs to be answered first!

Why have concealed pistol laws at all? If the constitution gives us the right to keep and bear arms, why do we need to conceal them? Why can't we just walk around with guns, knives, tasers, and whatever else a person thinks they need in the way of arms, in the open? The NRA is doing it's members a disservice by not insisting their politicians legalize unconcealed arms.

 In Michigan you can open carry, there is no permit needed. You do need a permit to conceal .
