I have practice more than my share of parental termination cases over the course of my 35 years practicing law in the State of Michigan. I have seen both sides of the issue: child abuse is real; abuse of the child abuse system is equally real. The courts have more than adequate authority presently -- maybe too much already. I would not support this measure!
