Ah yes.  I'd hate for those preschoolers to be sneaking into the corner party store on recess and stealing booze.

Stupid bill so politicians can act like they are doing something important, "for the children".

Violation of property rights!

This law, as it applies to churches, has created great difficulties in commercial downtown business revival efforts in some communities, where churches have been established in vacated business structures.  Expanding the law now to cover preschools would only aggravate that situation further.

 One more senseless law.  If this is a problem locally, which I'm sure would be rare, local zoning could address it.  In most cases this would simply make it harder to do business.
