Introduced in the Senate on February 10, 2009, to establish that the right of the owner of a self-service storage facility to deny a customer who has not paid his or her bills access to the stored property, and to sell the property if the rent remains unpaid, does not apply for certain members of the military. Specifically, if the military person was deployed overseas on active duty for at least 180 days, the storage owner could not enforce a lien until 90 days after the overseas service
