    2009 Senate Bill 135 (Authorize Humane Society specialty plate )

    Introduced in the Senate on January 29, 2009, to authorize a specialty license plate honoring the Michigan Humane Society, with the premium revenue going to the Humane Society for pet sterilization

    The vote was 23 in favor, 13 opposed and 1 not voting

     Why would any legislator not vote FOR this? I am mistified as to why you would say no the Mich Humane Society who is totally dependent on donations.
