    2009 House Bill 5221 (Eliminate “Laboratory Data Quality Recognition Program” )

    Introduced in the House on August 4, 2009, to eliminate the “Laboratory Data Quality Recognition Program” adopted in 2004 to identify commercial laboratories qualified to generate data for submission to the Department of Environmental Quality

    The vote was 106 in favor, 0 opposed and 4 not voting

     Why didn't they just appropriate funding instead of eliminating the program? Does this now mean that a lobbying organization can hire whoever shares their goals to submit "proof" to the DEQ and tie up projects indefinitely?
