This isn't about religion, it's about liberty. There are plenty of pharmacists who will fill the prescription--what's next, forcing nurses to euthanize old people in nursing homes? You have to understand that for some pharmacists, it's exactly the same thing. This bill may be forcing people to participate in a murder--after all, neither pro-abortionists or their adversaries can prove exactly when life begins. Sure, convenience is nice, but shouldn't there be a law that protects someone from being forced to commit a crime?
If this were a video store, should the owner be forced to offer religious movies/porn/whatever if he didn't want to? Wouldn't that violate HIS rights as a small businessman? What about the pharmacist?
And by the way, the argument that some poor woman will have to drive all over town searching in vain for a pharmacist is just silly. They can't call first to check?
