    Re: 2009 House Resolution 115

This resolution pertains to the actions of one individual. It is my opinion the House has no business in the matter at this time.

All Michigan elected officials and employees are required to defend the US and State Consitution (See MI Sec of State Website).  If one person's Constitutional Rights (1st Amendment) is ignored, none of us have any constitutional rights !!!  EMU's president should be terminated for failure to uphold her oath as a state employee. She promised to protect these rights, yet is actually denying Ward her rights as a US citizen.  This is not a "one-person" issue.  Every state employee should be crying "foul".

    Re: 2009 House Resolution 115

Whether Ward's rights have been violated, or EMU's president has violated her oath has yet to be determined. This seems to me an issue Ward should take up through legal action, if she feels her right's have been violated, or the attorney general should investigate, if he determines there is cause. A House resolution is not needed for either of these actions.
