Would this mean that I would not get the prescription in writing, in my hand, to carry to whomever I please? Meaning that I wouldn't be able to have my prescription filled in Canada, or some other country! This would put me completely at the mercy of the U.S. drug makers and their excessive prices! I am very much against this bill!

All this would do is add more costs to running a Dr.'s office in MI and possibly drive Doctors out of MI, this eliminating more of our choice. Perhaps this is part of the reason that so many Doctors don't want to accept Medicare? Anyways stop trying to legislate our free market system, most Doctors will electronically submit a script if you want them to and if they don't have the capability deal with it. Besides why does the government want to start keeping track of our prescriptions - oh possibly so they know which drugs to not cover in their grand healthcare scheme that's going to bankrupt our country and give us the worst possible coverage available.

Unnecessary and intrusive! As impossible as it is to secure on-line transactions, tgis is one more way to control the patient and doctor alike-and micro-manage our health care. NO!!
