    2009 Senate Bill 387 (Revise Michigan Trust Code )

    Introduced in the Senate on March 17, 2009, to revise and update many sections of the Michigan Trust Code, which establishes regulations for law relating to wills, estates, trusts, guardianships of legally incapacitated or vulnerable individuals, the duties and responsibilities of trustees, fiduciaries, guardians, etc. For details see Senate Fiscal Agency analysis

    This is the most well-researched and well-written legislation that addresses concerns of "centralized powers" within a "certain" state agency. I speak with gratitude and only for myself when I say that this Senate must be commended for taking such immediate actions to long-standing issues.
