I have mixed thoughts where this bill is considered. Lowering the age for being able to donate blood would possibly get some new donators involved, and could increase supplies in the blood bank. However, from personal experience my daughter at 18 still gets ill when she donates because she is of small stature. So lowering the age could bring up more of those type issue.
