I am a big fan of Sen. Cherry. I trust her to spend my tax money wisely. I am overwhelmed by the amount of money involved. Flint, in particular, is in need of community health services because it is not a well community. No matter how much money is spent it will never seem like enough if the communities do not begin to heal themselves. Education is only as effective as long as the receiver of the message is willing to make changes. I think that health education is still our best hope. Programs that offer education to those at risk before it becomes mandatory is more effective than if one is forced to attend. This probably means directing more education to our youths in schools. I will certainly do my part to help educate clients and I will leave the bean counting to Sen. Cherry.
