This bill is a really creative idea. This would be not only a great way to prevent so much waste and cut costs, but it would also help so many people in Michigan who need their medication and can't pay for it.
I think this is an excellent idea as well. A statewide unused perscription drug repository program would stop the "wasting" that often goes on in hospital and may even assist with diversion of drugs. Additionally it provides a tremendous services to the community. I am in support of this legislation and would be interested to watch the program's development and implementation.
I am only sorry that something this sensible has taken so long. I am just sorry that I can't do the same with my own leftovers.
