I thought the lottery was for the schools? So do the schools have so much money that they don't need it, and the lottery has so much money that it has to look for someplace to put it? The lottery is just another scam that was pulled on us! They told us the lottery money would go to the schools, so I voted to allow it; Then I found out that for every dollar the lottery puts in, the general fund puts a dollar less, in effect, the schools gained nothing from the lottery, it was the general fund that gained.

What is this another shell game?  Now the State will owe interest to the State! Isn't that like taking money out of your left pocket and putting it into your right pocket and charging yourself interest for the privilege of doing it! No wonder the State's finances are a disaster! If you don't intend to use it for schools why not buy down the State's debt and save the State some interest? Why not save a million and forget about the anti-gambling ads. If people didn't gamble you wouldn't sell any tickets. Or is that a feel good thing to make you feel better about selling tickets to addicted gamblers. Still no job initiatives huh Mickey? The unemployed are so proud of the work you're doing.
