In Illinois, the State Legislators around 1978, declared that a certain amount of mercury was the limit that could be accepted in potable water for human consumption. After a bit of study it was discovered that no aquifer on earth could be found to be be below the Illinois acceptable limits for mercury. So we have lawyers in place of scientists doing the work of bungling up something that should be given to scientists.
If these lawyers go ahead with this, it will have extensive ramifications for coal fired power plants. I can imagine that the trash from the Twin Towers was loaded with mecury due to the vast amount of florescent lighting and I can understand that many firemen and others in the area would have been poisoned by this mercury laden litter.
So my question is where will florescent lights be disposed of?
