Introduced in the House on January 22, 2009, to authorize an exception to the time limit for filing a tax exemption application for housing units in a particular neighborhood enterprise zone. The bill would make the tax break for this particular project retroactive, and give the developer a rebate for taxes already paid

“Mr. Speaker and members of the House:

I can not continue to vote for carve out tax breaks for one city in Michigan. We need lower taxes for all.”
