will the left be mad at the president for increasing the debt?

will all those who were mad at 'W' for eight years be mad at our current president? his plan, with the blessings of congress is to increase our debt by a TRILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. the left wanted 'W's head for a lot less than that. let's see if they hold the current president to the same accountability as they held the last one.

This is part of the legacy of "W". Why would anyone be mad at Obama for trying to fix what Bush broke. If we didn't want it fixed, we'd have voted for McCain.

"W" left is with a couple of billion dollars in debt. our current president will leave us with over ten trillion dollars in debt. but he gets a pass as usual.

I've always had trouble predicting the future, but I'm pretty good at seeing the past. I'll give Obama the chance you gave Bush.

i'm giving the current president the same chance you gave bush. now, how mad will you be when the ten trillion mark is hit? or will hypocracy give the current president a pass?

i take it by your lack of response that hypocracy will give the current president a pass.

I think three months is a little too short a time to judge a presidency on.

not a presidency, no. but a president, yes.

A pesidency is what we should be judging. A president is the leader of the executive branch of the government, not a king. It is what this branch of the government accomplishes, and how it interacts with the other two branches, that matters. Not whether you like the guy or not.

The polls said most Americans would like to have a beer with Bush, but look at the mess he made out of the presidency. I don't want the president to be like the guys I have a beer with.

it's not a matter of liking or disliking. it's a matter of doing what you promised the american people. it's also a matter of saying what you mean and meaning what you say. current polls tell a far different story about our current president. they tell of lost trust, lost faith, and lost hope.

LOL! A Zogby poll is like Jim Cramer telling you to buy Bear Sterns, only less accurate.

can you verify that our current president is a citizen of the united states? this was a 'bone of contention' for some time, and the only 'proof' has been sealed and hidden from public view.

Kind of sour grapes when you bring that up now. He won, as opposed to Bush, who actually lost the popular vote.

who won or lost is irrelevant, it's what you say you believe versus what you can verify.

wasn't it you that said you only believe what you can verify?

Who won or lost is far from irrelevant. If McCain had won, would you still be questioning his qualifications to be president? C'mon now.

Re: will the left be mad at the president for increasing the debt?

    Born in the U.S.A.
The truth about Obama's birth certificate.
    Summary

In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document's authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is "fake."

We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as "supporting documents" to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.

Update, Nov. 1: The director of Hawaii’s Department of Health confirmed Oct. 31 that Obama was born in Honolulu.

really? oh my. i guess msnbc hasn't gotten that memo. or cbs. or abc. or meet the press. or the white house press corps. i wonder what is on that birth certificate that our current president does not wish us to see? it is still under seal.

Oh my, indeed. Kind of leaves you a rider without a horse, eh? Under seal? Maybe you should re-read fact checks statement.

they don't know about it. it cannot be true. what is obama trying to hide by sealing his birth certificate? every other candidate had to show theirs.

so, deciet from a the current president gets a pass.

the reality is that our current president gets an extraordinary amount of passes that the past president never got. the reality is that you will believe plenty that you cannot verify. the reality is that our current president could ruin our nation as our current governor has ruined our state and still get a pass.

Yes, the present president could ruin our country, like the previous one did. But I'll give him more than a couple months to make that judgement.

you mean that you advocate ignoring what is happening now? that you blind yourself to the facts as they are until the 'honeymoon' is over? just give him a pass and be done with it.

i have not given up on anything. i also gave bush no passes. i held him accountable for everything he did. and nothing he didn't do. why can't you do the same for the current president?
