    2009 Senate Bill 322 (Appropriate Natural Resources Trust and other money )

    Introduced in the Senate on March 4, 2009, to appropriate $58.4 million for recreational land acquisition and boating infrastructure projects, and National Guard infrastructure projects. The latter is paid for with $9 million in federal money, and the rest is Natural Resources Trust Fund money (which comes mostly from oil and gas extraction royalty payments)

    The vote was 37 in favor, 0 opposed and 0 not voting

    Sorry, guys-in case you hadnt notices, ther Michigan budget is in meltdow-because the incomes of your constituents are in melt-down. Now is NOT the time to worry about expanding the littl fiefdom of State ownership of recreational lands. Less land-grabs mean less land taken off the tax base and less of our hard-earned tax dollars maintaining it.
