This is a very dangerous bill as it would strip the rights of conscience, morality, religious belief, and privacy from citizens by mandating and forcing acceptance of sexual deviants and perverts.  Some may argue that doesn't apply to 'normal' homosexuals and that may be true, but when you throw in people who think they can 'choose' the sex they 'feel' like for that day and force everyone to accept their decision, you're treading on very thin ice.  The language of the bill is sweeping and includes almost everyone and every business with very narrow exceptions.  Plus, in other states where this has arisen, and in Michigan where it's been tried to be forced on citizens, 'public accommodations' has been interpreted to include restrooms, changing rooms, dormitories, locker rooms, etc.  So a biological man who decides he's a woman that day, under the language of this bill, MUST be granted the same access to areas previously segregated to women only.  So he can enter the women's restrooms, the local YMCA's women's changing area...etc.  Read the language of the bill.  Any attempt by other women to stop him or kick him out would be interpreted as discrimination and THEY could be prosecuted.

What is the left's fascination with sexual perversion and forcing it on all of us?

Plus, where is their love of the individual's right to privacy?  They've used that to elevate abortion as a sacred right.  But I don't have the right to a same-sex bathroom?  Or NOT to have a 'gender-confused' male/woman in my Lockerroom?

Once again, the left/Democrats are showing just how much they value our religious rights also, as sincere christians/jews/muslims etc, would be forced to hire cross-dressers, etc., or face prosecution.

(Only Dems have sponsored/co-signed on this bill.)

not by any other american than you. you seem to have a rather different view of what is the american way. perhaps it is from your viewpoint that socialism is good for the country.

Why are you for this legislation?  I have read the bill  and it would basically force me to accept men in my restrooms and showerrooms, to hire men in drag, or women in drag, no matter what the job is, and force me to accept a lifestyle that I consider morally wrong.  Why do the 'gender-confused' have superior rights to me?  Why is sexual behavior considered more important than my right of conscience?  It's like telling the head of the Islamic students organizations they must accept a practicing Jew as their leader, or for a local gay rights group to be forced to hire a practicing evangelist.  There no recognition in this bill that people can choose to believe what they will and have that respected, if they are not of the homosexual, or sexually confused groups.  They are given tyranny over the rest of us.  How can you support that?

I eagerly anticipate the passing of this bill. Its about time that homosexuals are protected under the same legislation as other minorities, such as racial minorities. One day we will look back upon this and equate it with discriminating against people based upon their skin color.

I have heard many cases of homosexuals, upon their employers learning of their homosexuality, have terminated their employment days later.... with an incredible blatancy. The sheer fact that someone could be this blatantly ignorant and discriminatory in the 21st century is sickening. It is important that homosexual workers are protected from discrimination in all aspects of the workplace. Homosexuals are especially at risk in teaching jobs, where unfounded paranoia over homosexuality "spreading" from instructor to student has placed their jobs at a heightened risk. Also, workers in more conservative fields such as law or workers in fields populated mostly by people of lower education are at a heightened risk.

    Bottom line: Its about time.
