Great, another idea to spend our tax dollars when we are in double-digit unemployment.  Where do we get these people?

    Hey, just a thought.

This might provide some gainful employment for a few people.

If that is the case, in an era of huge unemployment, shouldn’t we applaud the idea of people going to work in new jobs and becoming taxpayers rather than griping about it?

it is NOT THE JOB OF GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE JOBS. that is the job of the private sector.

it's the job of government to GOVERN. nothing else.

My dad was pretty glad to get that job from the government in the 30's.

Digging latrines for the WPA was honest work when someone needed it.

What do you have against honest work, and honest working people, crazy?  Why are you so disdainful of them?

Don't forget to name some streets and highways after Cesar Chavez. Maybe Hugo Chavez, too while you're add it. You louses have no shame.

It is not the right economic climate in this state to expand the duties of any part of state government!

Government jobs are not jobs. They are paid by taxes, not economic activity. I guess the definition of "sanity" has wiggle room, as well...
