There are some crimes that no matter who or how old you are you should never be allowed back into society! This is a ridiculous bill.

No one should ever be just locked up and never be eligible for parole.  People have the capacity to change and become better human beings.  We need to have some way to re-evaluate people throughout their incarceration.

i'm sure that makes you feel better, but do you REALLY believe it. if a juvenile kills your spouse in cold blood, do you REALLY want them walking the streets again anytime soon to do it again? no matter how many times they SAY he's rehabilitated?

I can't beleive this bill is being introduced again this session, considering the 16 year-old punk who killed that Oak Park police officer after he did him a favor by not arresting him for driving without a licence. That scum deserves life-without-parole, and it is sick to think the Legislature would give him a shot at parole, thus making the victim's family have to appear at hearing after hearing in an effort to keep him in jail.

Rehabilitation is all well and good. But there are some crimes that, for reasons of justice alone, should result in incarceration until death, no second changes.
