 given a choice, a democrat will always ASSUME that it's up to the government to protect you from harm (from criminals, for example) by having you finance a large police department.

they will also, if given a chance, try to get you to buy into UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE.

what is it about being a democrat that causes such stirrings in otherwise intelligent people's hearts?

what causes them to feel that they must solve the "problem" of people being unsafe by hiring "protection" with our money?

why do they feel that the government would provide a better healthcare system than the one we have now?

i'm interested to hear the reasons they think that way.

I can't answer why they think that way - but they should check with Canada.  The government health care is NOT a good thing.  In China a tour guide makes as much money as a medical doctor, thanks to government control.  I wasn't born in a socialist country and would prefer greatly to not live in one!

Too late, our new dictator starts work tomorrow and if the number of times I heard that he should use his "bully pulpit" to shove things through this morning on the news shows is any indication, it ain't gonna be pretty.

We have reached the tipping point where the usefull idiots, lefties, ignorant college kids and slackers want the government to be their mommy outnumber the productive self reliant class.

the last time a government promised more than it could deliver, someone invented the guillotine..... and used it.

i have seen obama prepping his "peoples" for his failures, letting them know that THERE IS LOTS OF WORK TO DO. which i'm sure bothered them greatly, as work is the last thing most of them want to do.

watch for ebonics being taught as mandatory subjects in our schools, a new 'RAP' version of the national anthem, and spinners on the presidential s.u.v.

i can't wait to hear the backlash when those promises start going unfulfilled.
